Cash & Repair creates a factory to upgrade phones

Cash & Repair will open a cell phone recycling plant this year.The Vendée SME would like to recycle 50% of the phones it repairs with recycled parts from used phones.Objective: industrialize and automate the process and spend a little less 100,000 to one million phones upgraded with second-hand parts.
Bertrand Lepineau still keeps the reception area secret.The founder and manager of the Vendée SME Cash & Repair is preparing to open a factory in France for the industrial dismantling of used mobile phones this year.He has received financial support from one of the funds of the recovery plan dedicated to industrial relocation.The new factory, which requires an investment of 1.2 million euros, will welcome 30 new employees.This is a major project for this SME of 45 employees based in La Roche-sur-Yon with a turnover of six million euros.
The factory will dismantle the phones and collect everything that can be used to repair a broken cell phone.“There are the screens, the Home button but also the battery, the headphones, the motherboard, the proximity sensors, the device.photo, etc.”, lists the manager.
This is a new activity for Cash & Repair, which specializes in repairing smartphones.A buoyant market.According to a GFK study, while the new home market fell by 6.5% in 2018, refurbished vehicles grew by 7% to reach 2.1 million units sold in France.The refurbished market represents around 10% of phone sales in France and around the world.In five years, many players have positioned themselves in this very open market where there is not yet a label to standardize refurbished standards..
